The lessons will take place on Zoom.

The lessons start during the week commencing 13 February and run for 8 weeks. Each lesson lasts 75 minutes.

It’s both: since we have highly qualified teacher trainers, who are also English teachers, you will use topics related to teaching to develop your English speaking. This way, you will learn more about teaching and lesson planning, while also developing your speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar!

Absolutely: your trainer will share the slides and additional materials you will use before your lessons. You will be able to download them and use them as you like.

It will be 100% useful: you will discuss several topics related to methodology and lesson planning, so you will develop the speaking you need for your oral exam.

If you have to miss a lesson, it’s no problem: you will receive all the lesson materials, plus an audio recap of what was covered in the lesson from your trainer, including any grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation points that were raised. You can also email us in advance and we can check if there are any places available in another group that week for you to join. To safeguard our students’ privacy, and to avoid putting pressure on them and hindering their speaking fluency, we will not be recording the lessons.

Since we are dealing with teachers, who are professionals, we leave it up to you to decide whether you are more comfortable with a B1-B2 level or a C1-C2 level. If you have doubts on which course is right for you, let’s have a chat: drop us an email at chiara@languaged.org and we’ll help you decide.

Course fees include 10 hours’ worth of class, all the downloadable materials, follow-up emails with your trainers and your final certificate of attendance. The full fee for the course is 180.33 Euros + VAT. LanguagEd course participants are entitled to a 10% discount until 31 January 2022.

Yes: if you are already a LanguagEd course participant, just look for the “Speak Better Teach Better” unit at the start of your course and you’ll find your discount there. N.B.: the discount expires on 31 January!

Just email us at languaged.courses@gmail.com after you complete your course and we will send you a signed certificate of attendance for 10 hours.

Choose your class and reserve your spot at this page. Places are very limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis.

You can either ask us via email at chiara@languaged.org or join one of our free information sessions on Zoom. Either way, we look forward to helping you!

Registrations open on Sunday, 22 January and close on Wednesday, 8 March. However, since places on the programme are very limited, you may want to reserve your place in advance to avoid disappointment.

The programme has a very limited number of places available so if we’ve run out, you can join a waiting list: email us at languaged.courses@gmail.com to join our waiting list.

Speak Better Teach Better is a specialised programme for language teachers that took 6 months of work from 4 trainers to design. It is based on research and it is very focused on helping you improve your speaking while improving your teaching, thus reaching two goals at once in a much more cost-effective manner than a General English course. This also means that the trainers who teach it are very highly qualified and experienced, specifically with school teachers, having helped hundreds pass their concorso. As such, and to keep with LanguagEd’s philosophy on fair working conditions, they are paid a fair living wage commensurate to their abilities and experience. Further, you will learn in very small groups of 4 to 6 teachers, meaning you will get much more and much more focused feedback. All of these reasons dictate the course final price and make Speak Better Teach Better a different programme from private lessons online.
